Our online account remembers your previous prescription requests, so no need to remember awkward names and doses! 

Please note- Online Account requests may take a few days to set up. If you need a prescription meantime, please email us instead

If you are signing in for the first time, you will need to enter our Practice Code: which is 70272. 

For those with small amounts of repeat medications or individual requests, you may prefer to simply email your request to us at:

prescription.s70272@nhslothian.scot.nhs.uk

Alternatively, you can send a paper request by using the tear-off slip of your prescription list and posting it to us or handing it in at the practice reception.

If you enclose a stamped self-addressed envelope we can post your prescription to you.

Our turnaround for prescriptions is two working days.

As we are closed at the weekend, any requests submitted on Saturday/Sunday will be actioned on Monday and will be ready on Wednesday at the latest.

Please let us know if you have preferred pharmacy in the local area. We have many chemist in the area being a so centrally located  and are in regular communication with majority of  them . By selecting a preferred pharmacist will allow your prescriptions that are issued by our team sent efficiently and automatically to your preferred pharmacist.
